Recognizing Engineering Achievements for Outstanding Projects & Leadership during 2009 Keynote Speaker Col. David R. Scott, USAF (ret.)
Col. Scott graduated from the USAF Experimental Test Pilot School in 1963 and Aerospace Research Pilot School in 1964.  As a NASA astronaut, he was pilot on Gemini VIII (first docking of two vehicles in space), Command Module Pilot on Apollo IX (first Apollo docking), and Commander of Apollo 15 (first test and operation of the Lunar Roving Vehicle).  Col. Scott served as Director of NASA Dryden Flight Research Center before entering private industry to specialize in aerospace technology transfer.
